Daily Bulletin

Glen Lake School Bulletin for Thursday, October 18, 2018

For the safety of all, we ask that everyone follow these drop-off and pick-up procedures.

•Parking in the lot and walking your child to or from the building is quicker than waiting in the line of cars. Please do not park in the fire lane along the driveway and walk up. Parking should occur in the parking lot only.

•If you choose to drive up, staff loads and unloads 3 cars at a time between the cross walks. Please wait to be motioned forward.

•For safety the unloading of students by staff takes place from the curb side only.

•Please refrain from chatting with the staff or other parents while loading and unloading. It slows the line.

•If you have a difficult car seat or your child takes awhile getting settled in the car, please consider parking in the lot and walking over.

•Please remember, the safety of your children is our number one concern.

Thanks so much for your help with this. Please share this information with anyone who picks up or drops off your child. Together we can ensure a safe arrival and departure for all of our young students.

October is hearing and vision month at Glen Lake School. Mrs. Kayser will be talking about eyes and ears with the students and showing them the equipment we will use to check their eyes and ears. Volunteers from the Goffstown Lions Club will be here on Tuesday, October 23rd using their SPOT vision screener to check your child's eyes. It is a quick and non-invasive way (about 5 seconds) to do a basic vision screening.

Glen Lake School annual canned food drive will be Thursday, November 1st - Friday, November 16th. In past years our small school has collected over 1,200 nonperishable food items over a two-week period. This contribution helped to feed the 250 local families who are assisted by the Network Food Pantry.
