Seniors: Be a part of the Night of the Arts!
Seniors are invited to submit up to three pieces of their best artwork to be in the senior showcase, which will be part of this fine and performing arts event.
The “Night of The Arts” will take place on the evening of Tuesday, May 27th and feature senior level work of all Art classes, Graphic Arts, Photography and Creative Welding. There will be performances by Music, Dance and Drama students and refreshments will be prepared and served by the Culinary Arts Program.
Students who would like to exhibit work created in the Art Department should sign up by Friday, April 25th and register the pieces. You will need to know the art medium of the work, the class the work was created in, and the teacher who lead the class you created the work in. All 2D work should be appropriately mounted or matted.
If you have a question see one of the art teachers.
NHS Tutoring Services
GHS National Honor Society members offer several tutoring options during the school year for students in all four grade levels. Tutoring services are available during all class periods in the Student Resource Center as well as before and after school. Students can receive help for any subject. Parents, students and counselors can request a tutor through the guidance department. Also, this year we are excited to be offering on line homework help on Moodle. This is an online resource where students will be able to post questions to our forum that is found under clubs and activities (GHS NHS). NHS members will be able to respond to posts in a timely manner. We hope to see students take advantage of these great resources.
